After spending eight years learning and working as a professional hair stylist and makeup artist, I’ve identified certain shortcomings in the beauty industry; I believe the beauty industry is operating on a model that is dated, elevating brands over ethos and quotas over personalized experience.
My foray into the beauty industry began with a career in makeup. After attending the Makeup Designory in NYC, I worked at MAC Cosmetics in Boston while completing my degree in Business. During my time in makeup, and after a few chance opportunities assisting at New York Fashion Week, I realized my desire to expand into hairstyling and went on to earn my license.
My training continued at the acclaimed Matthew Morris Salon and Skincare in Denver, where I was able to refine my skills and build my clientele. In time I opened my own business; I believe practicing both disciplines of hair and makeup is essential to a holistic approach and continued success within the beauty industry.
Client experience is my highest priority. I am most invested in the happiness and wellbeing of my clients; I enjoy building relationships that leave them feeling confident and fulfilled. Behind the chair I create looks that elevate each individual’s style and personality. My vision is best when met with yours.
